Canon has designed a new version of this everyday zoom with a bit over 4 times zoom. Canon has used their 'Nano USM motor' to drive this AF at claimed 'hyperfast' speeds. Also built in is a five stop optical stabiliser and a fluoride coating for dust and moisture resistance.
